Topic Outline Overview of the legislation hierarchy, and how to achieve your legal obligation. Introduction of the safety standards available and the scope of these standards: - AS 4024, AS 62061 & ISO 13849 • Explanation of the concept of risk • Explanation of risk assessment • Explanation of the Safety Category requirements • Workshop 1 > Design a safety system to a required Performance Level (PL) according to ISO13849 • Workshop 2 > Design a safety system to a required Safety Integrity Level (SIL) according to AS 62061
